because she went to sleep it off in her car.

So some one slipped her a sedative, saw her leave and get in her car? Luckily she decided to sleep it off first and didn't drove home.

    She was just passing through the city, so she was sleeping in her car anyway. The friends she was out with thought she was tired, my opinion on some of them is a whole other story.
