So, I first saw Perez Hilton in, I think, the early 2010s. He commented sharply on celebrity gossip, and for a while he had a YouTube that was pretty unique in the sense that it often provided the latest analysis on some random shit going on with celebs...

He got replaced by "random guys deep diving it and going a 45 minute ELI5 vid for all the people who don't really know WTF these people are and why it's such a big deal..."

But for a while, he would be high in the algorithm. I think he may have even had a full time, properly salaried gig with E! at some point.

I thought he was a witty, fun guy, and so I was saddened by this news in particular and clicked the link. Honestly, I haven't seen anything he has done in probably 10 years.
