Find a math/ science adjacent hobby (note: hobby must be expensive) to devote a disgusting amount of time researching, then use some of those skills to find a job. I like computers, 3d printers, and cars; I got a job servicing and installing industrial equipment. Sometimes you don't even have to partake in the expensive hobby. Just spend weeks reading about it on Wikipedia and forums and watch a few dozen hours of YouTube videos on it and you're bound to get enough side knowledge to be useful in some field. permalink fedilink source parent [–] PM_ME_VINTAGE_30S@anarchist.nexus 4 points 1 week ago This was also me with music production. Then I got a MS in electrical engineering and I can't stop talking about math. permalink fedilink source parent
