The U.S. has paused bombing Iran for a third straight night after senior Trump administration officials reportedly warned the president about dwindling munitions stockpiles. In response, Iran said it would pause retaliatory strikes against U.S. bases across the Middle East. Over the weekend, the Pentagon updated its official war casualty database, adding more than 140 wounded service members. The new figures show that 18 U.S. troops have been killed and 624 wounded since the U.S. launched its war against Iran back in February. The Pentagon is separating the casualty figures: Deaths and injuries after the ceasefire ended on July 7 are listed in a separate database labeled generically as “overseas operations casualties.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of attacking an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, saying one sailor was killed and another injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of passing on to Iran its satellite observations in the Middle East, allowing Iran to launch attacks across the region. This comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit the White House Tuesday for the first time since the U.S. and Israel started bombing Iran in February.

Despite the lull in fighting, Britain said its armed forces were ready to defend itself after Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps warned the U.K. not to allow U.S. bombers to fly from U.K. bases. On Thursday, the IRGC claimed that the U.S. had flown bombing missions against Iran from Fairford Air Base in southwest England.

tRUMP started an illegal campaign

Oh really? Did he sail down there and do it all by himself? Or was it the US Military that did it?
Like it or not Trump is President of USA because the American people elected him!

So it is indeed true that US started the illegal campaign, and bombed a girls school, and the people of USA are as guilty in this as the German people were about the Nazi atrocities of WW2.

You don't get to wash your hands for the entire population of USA, that chose to vote for the obvious psychopath, and the about a third of the population of USA that still support Trump and what the administration is doing.

Like it or not, this is America, this is who you are now!!!

There is obviously election interference. There was a mailbox on fire in a blue city, bomb threats called where dem voters were. There was no evidence for interference in 2020 and it has piled up for 2024. When I voted my notification paper did not come out of the machine. They have gerrymandered everything and are doing everything to discriminate against women and black people so that it's harder for them to vote.

Using google, Amazon, or Microslop? Because there is a reason these assholes have all this power. That's why I'm doing a lot to protect privacy, big corps, and fight facism that way.

This person is right. All of America is MAGA in the eyes of the world. It will continue to be MAGA until it revolts and crushes their leaders and their families and their businesses and their way of life. Until then, every American is MAGA or a coward, and I honestly don't know which is worse.

The difference between the US being 100% MAGA or being 30% MAGA seems negligible, given that MAGA policy happens either way.

Don't take this badly, but when it comes to military aggression on far away countries, most of Americans were MAGA before that slogan even existed - this shit, spending money to enable this shit and putting in place the policies that allow this shit to easilly be made to happen was all done with bipartisan approval and that of most Americans.

The only Americans not MAGA in this sense are the one who have always been anti-War.

You sound like that Tesseract guy. It must be everyone else that's wrong. Not Americans. Factual reality is that Americans caused this mess and no amount of "I didn't vote that way" whining will change how you're viewed.

I know my opinion isn't popular, not even with me, but this is the way it is now.

Do you think that people worldwide made distinctions on who the "good" German's were while the Nazis steamrolled Europe?

Look, I don't like it but this is what the rest of the world is going to see. Relax, if we didn't want people to think this maybe we should have fought harder than just thinking voting would solve all our problems in a broken system.

Do you think that people worldwide made distinctions on who the “good” German’s were while the Nazis steamrolled Europe?

Do you think literally ever German was responsible for Nazi policies?

Do you think it's WRONG to say every single Japanese person deserved to die in the American nuclear bombings, even children and infants? I do. I don't care if other people are so stupid that they make such careless generalizations. We should all be better than that. You're excusing their bigotry.

we should have fought harder than just thinking voting

Voting did solve our problem, not voting is what caused this. Another one you stupid fucking keyboard revolutionaries, right?

No, I am not going to accept blatant falsehoods to make non-Americans feel better about their bigotry and I am not taking the blame for something I'm not responsible for.

When to world looks at Russia attacking Ukraine, most people realize that there are Russians who are anti-war. That doesn't negate the fact that 'Russia' is in fact to blame, and things are largely viewed on a country to country level, for a conflict between two countries. You might ask 'Why don't they kick out Putin?' And answer ' Russia has a long history of bowing to imperialists'. The thought process is very similar when it comes to how the world views the USA, and Americans, right now.

The political will of the nation caused this, and USA has a long history of unjustified brutal aggression. You've been demonstrating well a big piece of the problem, which is that America thrives on a lack of accountability, and rather than showing shame and humility, such as expressing how ashamed you are of the nation's actions, or how sad you are that the world begins to view America this way, instead it's all defensiveness, deflection of blame, and 'shut up idiot you dont know shit'. It is, and has been, put up or shut up time for a while now, a general strike or similar huge action is desperately needed and the fact that it hasn't happened can only be blamed on Americans.

Here's the thing, I agree with this completely. But it IS NOT what I'm arguing against here. I'm arguing against the people that are saying each individual American is responsible. I'm not misinterpreting what they're saying, they're being very explicit.

These people aren't differentiating "America" as currently directed by Trump and supporter by Trump supporters. They are blaming ALL Americans.

Can I say that every member of the UK is responsible for Brexit and that I think every man, woman and child is an idiot for bringing it about? No, that would be wrong - that would being an arrogant and ignorant American.

But non-Americans ALWAYS get a pass when they act that towards us. People are calling me a Nazi in this thread - are you saying that's justified?

You didn't address a single thing I said and just resorted to insults. Pretty fucking pathetic, dude.

Either don't respond, make an argument or admit you don't have one.

I am ridiculously far from a "nationalistic jackass". I just do not accept bigotry or misinformation IN ANY FORM. And you're a spineless coward caving to it, letting people blame for things you're not responsible for.

What other forms of bigotry would like to engage in? Are all black people criminals? Are all car accidents caused by Asian drivers? Or maybe we should ask our European friends about the Roma or Muslims? That's what bigotry is. You should not excuse it, ever. It is ALWAYS wrong.

All these non-American bigots are refusing to name their own countries because they know they have their share of bigots and their own sordid histories.

Kinda, yeah. We are currently sitting at the table with Nazis. They are our administration, and we have yet to clear them from the table. And until we do, it's not unfair for other nations and their people to assume we're Nazis as well.

If we don't want to look like Nazis then we have to clean house until none of the filth remains. And if you're not willing to do that, then you should get used to the same scorn Germans had to deal with after Hitler, because you deserve it.

TL;DR Don't want to be accused of being a Nazi, then we shouldn't let Nazis sit at our table.

We are currently sitting at the table with Nazis.

For fuck's sake man, what is this tendency to make this ridiculous comparisons.

The Nazis invaded most of Europe and systematically rounded up and murdered 12 million people based on their Aryan racial ideology.

I know the US has a lot to be criticized for, but we ARE NOT doing that. That's just a fucking fact.

How am I supposed to "stop people from being at my table" in a country of 300 million? You know why these non-American bigots refuse to admit which country they're from? Because they know they ALSO have far-right maniacs in their country. They have racists. They have sordid histories. They're not clearing THEIR table of extremists because, deep down, they know how fucking stupid of a request that that is.

Stop falling for their bullying. I didn't vote Trump, I did what I could to convince others not to. I am not responsible for his presidency. What am I supposed to do?

Your opinion is wrong, factually. It is based on an incredibly poor understanding of the situation. You're just looking to excuse your bigotry.

Some Americans are to blame, some are not. Which incredibly simple concept are you not getting? Democracy? Or the fact that the US is made up of more than one individual?

There is no logical basis for your bullshit argument and thankfully, no matter how presumptuous and pompous you apparently are, you don't speak for the entire rest of the world.

Ignoring the wants and agency of the globe is not incompatible with 'policing' the globe, especially given the style of American 'policing' is killing random fishermen and triple tapping girls schools.

And who cares about a large chunk of your population that is apparently powerless and too pathetic to do anything to stop the war crimes the US has been committing every single day of every single year since its founding.

the people of USA are as guilty

You're right to say he was elected. Which means it's a really stupid oversight on your part to say it's "all" Americans guilty for it, considering quite a few of us did NOT vote to elect him.

You don’t get to wash your hands for the entire population of USA

That's correct. Neither do you get to implicate the entire population.
