RoboCop, especially in the new one when they show how much was disposed of.

    are you talking about the remake? or the deleted scenes of the original?

    yea the release version of the original kind of messed me up when i saw it as a little kid in the 80s

    I mean it isn't called that but it is essentially body horror and the fact that it's still you in there but not aware of how much of well you is missing and then being shown how much they chopped of sends shivers down my spine.

    yea. imo paul verhoeven is one of the most underrated filmmakers. body horror + wtf does it even mean to be "human/awake/alive" philosophical problems = great cinema
