[–] Calfpupa@lemmy.ml 3 points 4 days ago (2 children) How much did it cost and how long did it take? permalink fedilink source hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] PlaidBaron@lemmy.world [S] 4 points 4 days ago (2 children) The kit was $120ish. Pole and superspike were around $40. I already had the paint but didnt have to use much. It took about 20 minutes to assemble and about an hour to install. A few days to paint. All in all, super easy and pretty cheap. These are CAD prices so adjust accordingly if you're in the states. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] jdr@lemmy.ml 6 points 4 days ago (1 child) That's illegal unless you put an identical one next to it with all the books in French. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] PlaidBaron@lemmy.world [S] 5 points 4 days ago En fait, la plaque que j'ai achetée est écrite en anglais et en français. permalink fedilink source parent [–] ndondo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 days ago (1 child) Where did you get the kit from? Worth it to have one of those though. Thanks! permalink fedilink source parent [–] isleepinahammock@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 4 days ago If you're handy, free plans are available online. These things are small enough that they could be made entirely from off-cuts and scrap wood. You can probably find woodworkers in your area that would just give you the necessary material. permalink fedilink source parent
