Why won't Lemmy delete communities that are innactive? (lemmy.world)

I see communities with almost no posts and the only moderator deleted their account. Shouldn't these be deleted?

Also, Lemmy is a collection of instances not 1 big site. So an inactive community might be out of the reach of some admins
