I tried to get an extra number to forward, but those sites ask you to agree to the same privacy violations. I'm so pissed. What can we do to recieve phone calls for jobs without signing up for endless spam?

The wording even here is very unnecessarily complicated to me tbh and the application was also unnecessarily complicated and demanding, no idea why they’d need to see my lease as well, giant companies can do anything they want. What, am I gonna sue USPS? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ScoffingLizard@lemmy.dbzer0.com [S] 3 points 1 month ago (1 child) They can get med info if needed for the job. I've had to do it for very specific functions. Since driving mail around is demanding and important, I could see why they might need to know if you are about to have a heart attack or if you have serious mental health issues. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] deathmetaldawgy@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago Yeah I get it to some degree I was just a little disappointed and I didn’t expect them to need so much information before I was even offered a job. It’s no wonder they are short staffed. permalink fedilink source parent
