Lol, the reasons this reviewer loves it are exactly why I'm not 100% on-board with it. It's not bad, but drastically different from any of the other animated takes on it.

Sure, but they are right that it’s faithful to the source. Which is a culture shock whatever way your coming from.

Personally still on the fence about it, love me some SAC, but the animation of the new show is superb and a joy to look at.

I really like the old movie and Stand Alone Complex too but I‘m really eager to finally watch a faithful manga adaption. It was long overdue.
