There is no weight in the middle in the US. Things are too polarized. Everything is pushed out to the edges.

    That's where the ideals are though, so arguably they should be embraced. The past few years have been centrist nothing vs horrific ideals, and the ideals have been winning more than is comfortable given what they are.
