Those random, public space cameras with the little solar panel and the blue flashing light in parking lots and such.

Accessing for crime data is supposedly what they’re used for, but some of these guys are accessing to stalk ex wives, girlfriends, or “love” interests.

    Seems like it's a thing only in the US. Makes sense I've never seen them, since I've never been there.

    There's a little bit of need. This is an article talking about the widespread abuse of the devices, someone descrubed the devices, saying "well i've never seen one" serves exactly zero good purpose
