While he's the fucking president they have to deal with the asshole, so they use kid gloves because he's a fucking fragile egg. You don't get a stupid asshole to do the things you want them to do by being belligerent with them. You handle them. You cajole and you flatter and then you basically ignore every opinion that comes out of the dumb mouth. Which is exactly how most of the G-7 and the EU handles Trump.
