Anthropic/OpenAI may be spending more than $1000 for every $100 you pay them

... it really seems like even if the market is winnowed down to the major players, there's still not enough consumer demand at the prices they need to be profitable.

Also, if my cellular plan cost me $1700, I'd be shopping for a better deal.
