He told a mob of angry Trump supporters that they had to fight or they wouldn't have a country anymore. But he's gotten no real punishment for his actual crimes. His suffering now is of the sort that could happen to anybody, even if they lived the most virtuous life. Doing a January 6th isn’t immoral- doing it FOR THE REASONS IT WAS DONE is immoral. You have the grifters at the top who know it's bullshit, but who have found a huge pool of the world's easiest marks. You have a lot of genuine believers. You have a lot of people who don't have any beliefs but who simply do as they're told. You have a lot of people who are just trying to fit in. And you have a bunch of little Nazi wannabes who know everybody else is being grifted, but who either simply like hurting other groups of people, or they believe that they'll eventually become the grifters.
