The one thing they do better than some other countries is that for most holidays, if it falls on a weekend, you get Friday or Monday off. Not all countries do this so you can fall below the US in total amount of paid holidays even if you have more nominally. They get absolutely shafted with vacation days compared to everyone else though, no competition there. permalink fedilink source parent
