One of my main hobbies is aim training and there the difference is clearly noticeable. And there are many trustworthy voices in the aim training community that back this up. It's also noteworthy that other factors of the monitor impact motion clarity more than just the refresh rate. For example an OLED panel has way better motion clarity than IPS panels. But in the end stuff like this obviously won't give you superpowers.
