Don't ignore the fact that the entire men's team laugh at the disrespect too.

Fuck these guys and Trash Patel's fraud, waste, and abuse of tax payer's dollars.

I'm Canadian and we lost to both US teams. Nobody in my nation is mocking either of the US teams. Honestly the women's goal tending was nuts. I'd like to see trump last 5 minutes on the ice with one of those ladies dancing the puck around him.

Between this and trump's recent voting comments, women in the US should be very concerned.

1/3 of US women are totally cool with it.

Hell, a majority of white women voters.

Probably partly because of the Dem leadership's obsession with fruitless pandering to wine moms, people keep forgetting about the Karens.

Most notable was Trump’s performance among white women. The Harris campaign actively targeted the group in the hope that protecting abortion rights would garner their support.

Yet such support failed to materialize, with Trump winning among white women 53% to 46% over Harris, with that group making up the largest overall voting bloc at 40%, according to AP VoteCast.

It really sucks. Even though it is a small majority, it is disgusting to think that 53 of of 100 white women would prefer Trump to Harris.

    For comparison:

    White and Suburban Men

The Pew Research Center found that Trump in 2016 had a 30-point advantage over Clinton among white men. While Trump still had a sizable advantage in that demographic in 2020, Biden did make some gains and shrunk the margin to 17 points.

So far, Harris appears to have lost some of that ground in 2024, according to the AP. White men who supported Trump made up 59% of those surveyed as of Wednesday afternoon, compared to 39% for Harris – a margin that was smaller than Clinton’s eight years ago but still larger than Biden's in 2020.

    I don't understand these numbers. 59 + 39 != 100. Did 2% vote for a 3rd party?

I guess this is what happens when you tolerate intolerance

Yes. I know a few conservative voters in my home state who hate Trump but refused to vote for either Clinton or Harris.

Careful what you wish for. I worry JD is just as evil if not worse but also more cognitive.

He absolutely holds ideas that are as bad or worse. He doesn't have the charisma or the network to inact it though.

or the network to inact it though.

Vance still has Theil holding his puppet strings.

While he doesn't have the MAGA base supporting him, he isn't completely without connections to big money influencing and enabling him.

Money is only part of Trump's ability to influence. He also has the RNC chair. He can get anyone who doesn't fall in line primaried. Vance doesn't have these sorts of connections.

Yeah, I mostly said that because the fantasies everybody online is having about Trump leaving office before his term is up has that one major flaw that would affect anybody hoping for it. They should probably be hoping for Trump's continued health. Though I have zero idea what JD would actually do if he was in office. He would definitely not be as chaotic, for good or ill.

Mark my words. If pedo Trump lives to the start of his 3rd year of this term, he's going to be hit with the 25th Amendment. Thiel wants Vance in office for 10 years to completely destroy the USA and can't get that if Trump leaves office too early.

I am mocking the people who are mocking us allegedly mocking them, however

as for the men's game.. goddamn, hellebuyck again. what a performance. and those missed opportunities on the wide open net hurt. it happens... but it hurts.

unfortunately, I've literally not seen a single non-inflammatory comment from an American yet on social media. obviously there's the algorithm factor of boosting inflammatory shit.. but it's still a bad look. I have told off a few Canadians for being (unprompted) dicks, though

i am but one American so the sample size of what i'm seeing is limited, meaning the value of what i am saying is limited. we're a little pre-occupied right now to care about icey slidey sports. there's even a major part of me that was only paying attention to hockey second hand since my retiree motehr was telling me about it. she was disappointed Canada lost. she sees Canada as a nation of brethren separated from us by an imaginary border and our unlawful regime as a threat to all of the things she loved about the country we called home for 4 years in the 90s.

My friends and I have been trying to get sterilized since the election. Half of us have been successful so far. It feels like one of the last ways we can protect ourselves

They’re legalizing marital rape and criminalizing miscarriages. This move protects them from possible death and criminal charges.

Additionally, a lot of hospitals and doctors in those states are being very shaky about providing prenatal or neonatal care because of the potential of opening them to liability if a baby dies.

Well you might not see him taking on the women's team, but you can see him playing against the men:
