Yea t shirt sleeves tucked is ridiculous, but standard sleeve tuck i get. I don't personally do it because i find it way too tight around the arms to get anything done.

Hades characters are not what i would consider "dad bods" or "smaller dudes". They almost all have V tapers, visible abs, and a low body fat percentage. The biggest thing in hades for the female gaze IMO is more attention to costume/outfit design.
What the fuck does a steamy sex scene with real actors in a crime series trying to solve a murder mystery have to do with anything? Some of it is just to expand that the characters have lives outside of their work. Some of it is to sell sex and drama for more views. It exists in almost every form of media. If it was cut and dry just about the muderer, the series would feel more like a documentary than a show.
