    They do, it's called a lobbyist and every politician is owned by some business interest or another

    "You can't tax companies because that would be like double taxing the people"

    Then the companies go on to legally lobby politicians when people have a max donation of 10k, and companies can now pretty much "donate" unlimited amounts.

    ...is that not double(+) representation with singular taxation?
