[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 19 points 6 months ago (2 children) Biden is still the best president we've had since Obama permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 14 points 6 months ago (1 child) Well... you're not wrong, but also its a super low bar lol permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] mcv@lemmy.zip 13 points 6 months ago (3 children) I've got plenty of criticism of Obama too, but he's easily the best US president of the 21st century, and it's not even close. And although nowhere near as good, Biden is still easily #2, because at least he didn't start two trillion dollar wars for nothing. And although he's pretty bad, Bush is still easily #3, because for all his many, many faults, at least he didn't usher in a full-blown fascist dictatorship driven by narcissism and stupidity. There's no easier century to rank presidents. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 6 child comments replies: [–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 6 points 6 months ago What sad, is both Obama and Biden were handed entirely fucked up US Economies from the previous Repugnantcans: bush from the deregulation crash of Wall Street and Biden because everything the orange Nazi touches turns to shit. permalink fedilink source parent [–] GuyIncognito@lemmy.ca 4 points 6 months ago Being the best president of the 21st century is also an incredibly low bar. (Bush I, 88-92). permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 4 points 6 months ago Yeah, at least he reacted to a financial crisis by giving money to people instead of corporations. Not enough money, but it was still going to mostly the right places. When the banks gambled with our money and caused a financial crisis Obama could've done the same thing and allocated housing money to people, which would "trickle up" to the banks. Instead he bailed them out with no strings attached so they could continue fucking everyone over. permalink fedilink source parent
