It's going to be another tough year funneling taxpayer money to billionaires and corporations. Midterm elections are the best most peaceful route to making 2027 a better year. In the meantime tighten your belt and hunker down.

    Me too, big time. But our officials elected and otherwise seem to be mostly riding it out. Except quite a few non-supreme court judges.

    I don't mean elected officials. I mean us. You can't beat fascism by hoping someone else will fix things. Ordinary members of the populace need to start flexing their political muscles all the time, not just during elections. We always have power but representative democracy tries to convince us otherwise.
