It still hasn't been implemented. You need to turn it on for it to be active. Recall needs to be turned on for it to take screenshots. In order for recall to take screenshots, you have to actively turn it on. Recall is not actively taking screenshots unless you turn it on. To turn it on or off, it's located in the settings menu, and very simple to press the toggle. In order for recall to take screenshots, you need to turn it on.
