Your approach would have you assume this potential brown person doesn't understand cultural norms therefore you must treat them differently than you'd treat others due to their ethnicity. That doesnt sound very inclusive to me.

    I'm just proud we've moved past this. Lemmy is largely left leaning in my experience. And it's nice to see radlibs getting dunked on. Means we've purged a lot this useless woke scolding performative garbage.

    By this point in time most radlibs have shifted to be reactionaries. The kind of people calling ICE on their undocumented neighbors because they found out someone in their family voted for Trump.

    This idiots comments actually ended up making me positive for the future; just from the reactions to them.

    That is insane, yeah I'm glad too. I really do hope we can turn this ship around, I've been stressing the fuck out about all this since forever now and I too hope that all this small shit that doesn't have consequence gets removed from the conversation. I'm glad it's happening here, I just hope it sticks on a larger scale.
