is it possible to publish in spanish on this server? (lemmy.ml)

hi, i am new on lemmy and i want to use it with some friends, but we speak in spanish, can i publish here on that language? gracias por la respuesta!

Oh wow, so if I want to see English AND Spanish content, I would need to add both languages? Neat. TIL!

Oh, looks like that's not an option for me (lemmy.zip). Are you able to add multiple languages on other instances?

    What's the issue? It should be possible on any instance. I added English and German.

    I do remember my app doesn't support this, I had to do it through the website with the regular Lemmy web frontend.

    On mine, there's a dropdown to select your language. There is no option to add an additional one.

    You should be able to log in using your browser, even on mobile, and set it there. Then it should display posts of both languages even in your app, despite it not allowing you to properly apply this setting in your app. Just keep sure to also select 'undetermined' as most people don't bother selecting the language when they post.
