That said, I hate that the fact that the EU is somehow the least worst option, it holds back actual progress. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] Laser@feddit.org 1 point 11 months ago (1 child) Don't take my answer too literal. I was just arguing the same way the poster before you did, applying the same logic. In fact I (as a German) could imagine working in all these places. But it's not like they are without issues. And I think Europe has some countries that are very attractive to foreigners, just that Germany isn't on the list. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] HK65@sopuli.xyz 3 points 11 months ago (1 child) People from Eastern Europe still move to Germany, though from my admittedly anecdotal experience, the more skilled someone is, the less likely are they going to end up in Germany. That said, German politics seem fucked and hopeless and I'm from Hungary. I mean you have the unapologetic conservative-neolib group trying to cut all government spending if it does not go to megacorps, and the only party ith a chance to stand up to them are actual Nazis. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] Laser@feddit.org 2 points 11 months ago (1 child) and the only party ith a chance to stand up to them are actual Nazis. Maybe in numbers, but for sure not in policy permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [โ] HK65@sopuli.xyz 1 point 11 months ago Yeah sure, I'm not saying that they are an okay option, just that they seem to be the only one. permalink fedilink source parent
