In a Rambo movie, its cool as hell.

IRL, I've got a few WW2-era relatives who will tell you how fucking hard it is to take a life for the first time. Even setting aside the consequences of doing what is going to be immediately flagged as first degree murder, it cannot be properly expressed how horrible the act of killing another person is for the human soul.

This is the difference between someone who wants to use their gun defensively and someone who just wants an excuse to murder people.

You don't unholster your gun unless you're prepared to take a life. You pray you never have to.

But there are just too many people who are thirsty to take a life and that should worry all of us.

Even hunting takes something out of you. It's a feeling not like another to take a life, and not a good feeling at all.

Something tells me you've never been shot at. It's not just a videogame.

The context is you sound like a child who has no idea of the social political or mental consequences what they are talking about. Adults are trying to tell you that your bravado is foolish and that your casual dehumanization of your political enemies is the exact outcome they want. Fuck your juvenile accelerationism.

There are ways to stand up as a community and lock arms defensively. You are advocating for offensive actions. That will merit immediate harsh reprisals towards you and anyone that holds tangentially related political beliefs.

Do not confuse me for someone saying don't fight back,

And pray do tell o Messiah from the highmount. What am I failing to comprehend? You want to shoot fascists and think that it will make your pee pee hard and feel good.

Has it ever crossed your mind that the answer to hate isn't more hate?

You're not planning for a viable future you're living afraid and in the moment.

And what makes you different than the fascists you hate at that point?

What you may have missed in your upbringing is that people that do bad things do not think of themselves as bad people. They think of themselves as selfless heroes working for the common good.

Oftentimes the truth is far messier bloodier and dirtier than clean black and white divides. For instance your penchance for authoritarian action puts you closer to their camp than mine. I'm sure you'd make a wonderfuly self content beefstake Nazi.

The actual problem isn't the fascists on the streets. It's the the fascists in the banks and Congress and the idiots like you feeding the reinforcement loop.

But you do get to make a horcrux and become immortal.

    Comedy aside, well said.

Um, where else did you get your original definition of a horcrux?

Right. The vague concept existed before in many different forms. She put hircruxes in her books and made them a thing that people understood. I'm not saying she's a great writer, but she clearly appealed to a lot of people with her writing, and not just kids. Her stories at least had decent morals. I'm not defending any of her anti-trans crap, but her Harry Potter fiction is a separate thing.

Isn't that the point tho? The author created a purposefully imperfect world where the children could recognize the injustices and stand up against them. That's role modeling the right behavior. Our world is certainly not perfect and we have to stand up against bigotry and injustice (like transphobia). And the heros in the hp stories make mistakes but they learn and improve themselves - Rowling could learn from her own books!
