When I was a kid, I found a cool semi-epistolary 8-book series at my school library about a modern-day kid named Pendragon hopping through a portal to save alternate timelines. It was so cool to me that the series jumped around in time so we had to figure out when we were in Pendragon's timeline. Turns out my school shelved them in alphabetical order, and they also lacked the first and last books. So fucking annoyed Sky cancelled it.
