Israel is actively aiming for and shooting unarmed civilians standing in line to get food for their starving families. Fuck Israel fuck the IDF, and anyone who supports them permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works -26 points 1 year ago (1 child) I agree that the notion that Hamas can be defeated by denying it food, and furthermore that doing so justifies starving the civilian population, is indeed something I consider well outside the boundary of civilized warfare. The fact that Israel is doing that makes it hard to believe that it is seriously attempting to minimize civilian casualties in other ways. With that said, my point is that Dershowitz is still in principle correct. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] wpb@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago And what do you personally think of this strategy? permalink fedilink source parent
