Then I saw the first trailer. From that alone, I knew they did not do it right. No screen adaptation will be as good as the books are. You just don't have the time to explain and set up plots like you do in a book. I was so disappointed with the show because the books being adapted as a TV show could have been very successful if they stuck to the source material.
