My $1800 TV has the slowest interface ever and only 8GB of storage space, most of it being taken up by the OS. It's laggy as hell and a major pain in the ass to navigate cause of it. Mine has never been connected to the internet. I slap a fire TV to it (yeah, I know. I'm weak...) and forget about it. It had a grid of at least 20 trimpots for adjusting the picture on each of the tubes (RGB) and after 45min to an hour of warming up and tweaking it was an unbelievable picture.
