Hello, totally new here, Reddit immigrant.

Hopefully this is an appropriate place to ask this.....

Have signed up (obviously!) and currently building up my subscriptions via the web interface, all is good.

I went looking for an android client and settled on Tusky, based on users and reviews. However I cant seem to sign in to this account with it - the login prompt is "which instance?" and I have tried various forms using my username and not (so feddit.uk, @feddit.uk, urbanmoth@feddit.uk, !urbanmoth@feddit.uk, @urbanmoth:feddit.uk) none of them work.

Can I not use this client with feddit.uk? or am I doing something totally stupid (which has been known!)

Hi—I subscribed a long time ago to !arctic@lemmy.world, but it no longer shows any posts for me, and doesn't show up in search either. Weirdly, I was able to post there (using the Arctic app, signed in to my feddit.uk account). But I can't see the posts... Any ideas what's up there?

Migrant from Reddit here, finally overcoming the analysis paralysis of choosing a Lemmy server and deciding to stick close to home. I'm sure I'm not alone in searching out life rafts as Reddit turns into ever more of a corporate dystopia.
