Community has been locked for a year because it's been unmoderated

I'm the moderator of !civ@lemm.ee. As lemm.ee will shut down we are looking for a new home. I found that lemmy.ca has a similar community, it's moderator was inactive for 2 years: !civ@lemmy.ca

It may be better to revive this community than create a new one. Would you make me the mod of that community? Thanks!

I have been actively developing !trippinthroughtime@lemmy.ca for a month now by regular posts. However I noticed the only mod @Wololo@lemmy.ca has not been active for 2 years.

So I would ask to do a wololo (AoE 2 pun!) and become mod of that community. I'm also fine with someone else from lemmy.ca doing that job, just want to know it safe.

Timezone wise I am active from central Europe btw.

The sole moderator has not commented or posted for 1 year. I am requesting to become a mod to help mitigate any trolling and help foster a community.

This is another old community that looks unmoderated. Since health questions are more sensitive, it might be good to lock or close this one. Without many people seeing the posts, there's a risk of bad or dangerous advice being shared.

I don't think u/Kokomheart is active, and so I was hoping to take over as a mod. There are a lot of users on lemmy.ca, but the communities themselves aren't well advertised. I thought I could help get that going.

If someone else wants to take this on or help out, then please say so! I came looking for the community since I didn't see posts from it.
