Search your employer, or any US employer, and see how much profit they made per employee last year, and what your share would be if it were split evenly. There is also data on buybacks and dividends so you can see what employees could have gotten if the profits they worked to make went to them instead of the stock market (yeah yeah I'm aware many employees have some stock yeah yeah I'm aware most American households have at least some stock holdings, but the numbers are big dudes).

Some examples (profit per employee / buyback+dividend spend per employee):

• Walmart: $10,425 / $7,428
• Starbucks: $3,925 / $7,487
• McDonald's: $57,853 / $47,866
• Target: $8,313 / $6,085
• Home Depot: $29,653 / $19,372
• FedEx: $8,792 / $5,216

Huh? Starbucks sent more to Wall St. than it made in profit? Yup, that's legal in our system!

I still don't want to be dead or in prison for refusing to go out of my way to support bombing and and deliberate starvation of children.

I'm still trying to find others who share these concerns.

It should be easy enough to get rid of ICE, but I'm still trying to figure out what strategy could help with the next stages after that.

I also don't understand how a community can call itself "antiwork" and completely give zero fucks about my fear of being killed or imprisoned for refusing to work for the military industrial complex. I'm not ready to give up yet on somehow making it click for you people, or at least finding some helpful people among you.

Progressive

We want to stop using our taxes to bomb brown kids / march towards extinction. We want the freedom to work for our own survival.

Without funding bombs, we could eliminate the biggest tax burdens, shift remaining taxes more fairly, and provide basic needs like food and shelter.

You might not hear these ideas every day. We're so outnumbered by extinction cultists, it's probably harder to encounter us than to encounter liars who say "banning guns is progress" or "leftists support starvation" or something. Lately, we're basically not allowed to be famous in real life, so I'm just a picture of Captain Kirk from Star Trek.

"Socialist"

If we get enough power, we will provide basic needs like food. However, we will repeatedly ask you to re-explain how "warlord taxes" and a "societal extinction cult" stop you from wanting an "actual paying job."

When we're tired of paying for your food, we aren't really sure if we'll kill you, enslave you, or finally get what you're saying / let you work for your own survival. Some of us might "move right." Some might "move left." We're at least listening to your points.

We'll call that "freedom" because we'll be "free" to do whatever we want to outsiders: people with the wrong behavior or skin color for our in-group.

Since you're dead, you won't be able to argue "freedom" means "not having a bunch of dumb rules people can be killed for ignoring."

Microsoft said that employees who spend three or four days in the office have higher Thriving Scores — a metric that measures employee well-being.

Personally, when my company started forcing everyone back to office three days per week, I quit. I hated it so much. Because it affects my entire life.

I dont want my coworkers and bosses to be part of my life. I didnt pick them, I dont like some of them, and there is a huge feeling of hierarchy all the time. It sucks.
