I really like the atmosphere/vibe on this one

An old neglected and crumbling barn on a family member's farm. It hasn't been used in probably 20 years now.

I developed this picture myself and the developing process was a bit of a disaster this time. The film slipped out of the holder in the developing vat, overlapped, got scratched by the film holder, messed up the developer and fixer times.

Of the vat this one and one other came out salvageable.

i often continue editing my images after i post them. this is the original. let me know what you think vs the current version!

I also took the same shot with a bit different focus in landscape, I'll post it some other time.

This was in the Fukuoka area, I like how the colors ended up coming out, bit eerie feeling.

This was at Iidabashi Station in the Tokyo area.

I went on a fun little day trip with my Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 to a few places, unfortunately I didn't realize until I got home that I underexposed the shots to a substantial degree due to my light meter app being misconfigured. There were a few shots that were salvageable, this was one of them.

So, uhhh, yeah. Why process Phoenix II in black and white? Well, let's call it a happy little accident. The lab messed up and thought that it was black and white film. After the initial confusion, I was very surprised that there were somehow photos here. After finding out what happened the lab did a bit more to it, presumably to make sure that it remains stable.

Too bad I didn't get to see what Phoenix II actually looks like, but honestly this experiment was nonetheless very interesting. Apparently when you process it as black and white film, you basically get Phoenix but in black and white.
