To some extent, I have the same issue with choosing Gog over Steam. I really want to support Gog, because it's DRM free and European. However, it can happen that the games released on it are lacking patches, achievement or DLCs. For instance look at the commentary of Thief simulator: https://www.gog.com/en/game/thief_simulator

Devs support Steam because it's the top platform, and do the bare minimum for the rest. And I don't really see a solution for that.

Other examples: Hitman World of assassination on Epic has less achievements than the Steam version. Hardspace Shipbreaker achievements are broken on Epic and functional on Steam.

I discovered totally by accident Proverbs.

Proverbs is a picross/minesweeper hybrid featuring a single ENORMOUS puzzle, inspired by Bruegel the Elder's 1559 painting "Netherlandish Proverbs".

In short, it's minesweeper with a twist. It's pretty relaxing, you can do it while listening to podcasts or YouTube. Also, what I like is that you never have to make hypotheses. Everything is solvable just by looking.

After my first 50 hours of grim dawn, I discovered there is a filter field on the constellation map, allowing you to see the constellations that buff a specific characteristic/competence ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

When I played Fallout 3, there was a mission to help the rangers, with a special armor as reward. After finally playing New Vegas this year, I discovered the rangers are the elite troops of the NCR. Loosely related, in Wasteland 2 you also play a ranger.

Why are the rangers so present in post apocalyptic worlds now? Is this a cultural thing?

If I remember correctly, Fallout 1 and 2 didn't have any rangers.

On a side note, I think someone at Bethesda has a kink for rangers because they are also in Starfield ๐Ÿ˜
