I mean you have the utmost expert there for whatever the hell you want. Understand it has biases and flaws like any teacher. But damn you're missing out if you didn't have deep talks about philosophy, examine your studies deeper. I don't mind who uses it or not, just feeling a bit of intolerance here in Lemmy I didn't expect, just a curious note.

I see where you're coming from... When there is no way of doing something without AI I take on a job and pay peanuts for AI. I choose to earn money over not paying for AI. I can totally live without it, it's just work is preferrable than a tantrum.

I don't excuse it. It was born unethically stealing all of the internet. But like I said, it's here, I sure as hell am not going to become amish and make cheese. I like living in the modern world. Maybe some day I'll retire to the woods, but for now I got to live in this world, so I might as well take it in the chin and accept the damn thing.

I totally respect people not using it, it's just I've found people on Lemmy kind of don't respect people using it. I'm not here to change the world, though, I'm happy I opened this discussion.

Everyone says you need to solve a complex problem to build a unicorn.

    Then comes Liquid Death.

The Product: It’s just water. From the Alps.

The Packaging: Looks like a cheap beer tallboy.

The Marketing: Heavy metal aesthetics, "Murder Your Thirst," and zero health preaching.

On paper, this is a terrible idea. In reality, it’s a $700M+ valuation.

They didn't change the liquid; they changed the social context of drinking it. They realized that holding a crinkly plastic bottle at a concert isn't cool, but holding a tallboy is.

The Lesson: You don't always need to invent a better mousetrap. Sometimes you just need to paint the old mousetrap black and give it a cool backstory.

Discussion: What other "boring" industries are totally ripe for a brand overhaul like this?

Lemmy's design is focused on quality content by ditching the Karma farmers and addicts. No more chasing upvotes—people here actually focus on real value instead of feeding the ego.

EDIT: I know there are upvotes and downvotes, but the problem with Reddit is you can't post in most communities if your karma or reputation is bad. This is a big problem because herd mentality prevails there and if ypu have unpopular opinions you're basically censored.

Lemmy isn't designed to milk ypur dopamine with notifications every 10 upvotes, so you focus more on posting valuable cont instead of farming for approval and upvotes.
