Simple; it’s a thug’s game, played by thugs and watched by thugs. (Source; grew up in ‘80s Britain - football violence ruined this game forever and scenes like this prove the point year after year.)

This annoys me intensely. I don’t own a tv or monitor from LG, but I do have an excellent (dumb) washing machine and fridge, I would have updated my TV which is currently a fairly basic Samsung TV, because of it’s ads and I’ve decided they are on my shit list for this kind of thing.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luddite

The Luddites were members of a 19th-century movement of English textileworkers who were against the usage of certain types of automated machinery owing to their concerns relating to worker pay, child labour, working conditions and output quality. They often destroyed the machines in organised raids.[1][2] Members of the group referred to themselves as Luddites, self-described followers of "Ned Ludd", a legendary weaver whose name was used as a pseudonym in threatening letters to mill owners and government officials.[3]

You realise that the meaning of that word can literally be applied to holding something back? Ignition system on a car fuelling adjustment : advance/retard. You don’t see this anymore because the engine management does it for you.

I’m sure he’s fine with the racists bringing the English flag into disrepute by tying them up on lampposts here there and everywhere.

The reason I mentioned a type of shot gun, is that the distance it remains lethal is short, and if you’re shooting up towards something, it wouldn’t come down lethal like a pistol or rifle round, which could be dangerous for as long as it maintains a ballistic trajectory. But yes, not a wise thing to attempt in all seriousness.
