When I pick up my parents I wait around the Wendy's on airport road. When my family is outside the terminal I tell them to state the number they're at. Usually they're at the end of the terminal and from there I get in and out real quick.

Sometimes when things are crazy with departures, I tell them to meet me at the arrival area cause it's usually quieter.

I've actually bought some of these for some autistic children I used to work with. It gave them agency, even if they weren't able to communicate it verbally.
