i cant sign-in, any chance this is because i use LDAP auth plugin in jellyfin and its not implemented here?
discourse uses activitypub as a plugin so unless the site owner has enabled it discourse is not federated by default.
the beauty of the fediverse is everyone can chose how they connect. I subscribe to piefed/lemmy communities from my hubzilla instance and receive chronological posts so there is 0 influence of anyone on what i see.
Site should be usable without CSS enabled
css or js? but this seems almost impossible to enforce considering that i'm using a js framework and without css website would just be a mess.
i've been experimenting with building an alternative UI for hubzilla and wanted tips on how accessibility can be supported. So far i've found online tools like https://www.accessibilitychecker.org/ and using them i get the feedback that my framework is 67% accessibility friendly.
Any experienced folks who can point in the right direction or share tips would be helpful.
And for what the UI would look like (its still in alpha stage) you can check out my profile.
nice to see a fellow desi on the fedi!
I use grocy for this. It has task tracking and along with other home management stuff its a good solution.
@Rimu i think they mean that the 'preview notes' render cleanly on mastodon.
It would be a wonderful community and i'd love to be part of it. I am on hubzilla which implements groups in a different way than lemmy/piefed. In hubzilla we make a post by sending a DM to the community address and the community then automatically reposts it to their followers. I miss this kind of privacy while participating in forums on lemmy/piefed where i have to tag them publically and my post gets delivered to everyone and is always public.
Does nodebb enable private participation?
