I clicked on the entirely because it seemed so applicable. The top-level comment is exactly what I dreamed of
I prefer not to pretend my mistakes didn't happen. Would it be better to put the edit above it? I don't want to erase the context for future readers, and I don't think leaving it up as is, with the edit, would cause any problems. I'm open to ideas
Obfuscated? Did you look at the code? It's in a file called "blacklist" with a GUI option to turn it off and it has some funny comments inside. It wasn't even encoded it's literally plain text
Edit: perhaps I saw a fork with the decoded list; either way I'm sorry for spreading misinformation looks like I'm totally wrong.
Hidden is a strong word; it's a file named as such, in plain text, with a GUI button to disable it, and has a bunch of humor throughout. I'm not really sure what the big deal about it is honestly, I think it's hilarious and harmless
Edit: apparently I'm totally wrong and the version I saw was a decade fork, maybe? Not entirely sure but I'm sorry for spreading misinformation
OP I need you to prove your age to ensure you're not getting around a ban. Send me a picture of your ID, or stop using Lemmy.
I will sell and share your ID picture to whoever asks.
A taller barrier isn't the solution in the same way taller fire hydrants weren't; you just put some taller markers throughout and the problem is solved
Any combination of currently sealed docs/shitty journalism. My guess is squarely mediocrity
Malicious conduct, which certainly is present here, opens the door to punitive damages which has the potential to be based on vibes alone. Unintentional housing violations are no joke; intentional housing violations are taken very seriously in states where law is respectively.
As you pointed out, it wasn't a small claim
Based
It isn't small claims court
I believe their current solution is prohibiting the firing of workers only to replace them with AI to reduce cost. It's eh; much better than anything we have, but the scope is so narrow it seeks like something the US would conjure up. Having said that, China usually enforces their stuff with teeth.
