Even though I'm a European, I don't find this funny at all. These two dots are too close not to be connected:

  • All those woke weirdos and democrats are secretly pedofiles that want no good for this country!
  • Let's sentence pedofiles to capital punishment.

    To me, the whole thing with "woke" being used as a derogatory term is the same as conservatist folk calling XR, Last Generation and other activists "eco-terrorists".
