Thank you so much! I actually had a couple different attempts until I found something that worked well and fit the style of the rest.

It ended up less labor intensive than some previous attempts would've been, but still was a whole lotta work, so you might still want to try different approaches!

I basically made rough color sploches first, staying in darker shades. Then I used a basic round brush with the taper set to quicky reduce brush size with less pen pressure, that's how I get that leaf shape with quick short brush strokes. Then I just layered them from back to front, getting lighter in color.

Sorry it's a bit hard to describe in writing, I hope it makes any sense at all...

    Thank you!!

Yeah I pretty much agree with you. I love love love the setting and vibes, but it seems hard to really make much progress on anything, but easy to get punished in a way that gets frustrating.

Though, we haven't played for long yet, so I want to wait a bit longer and think the mechanics through before a final judgement. And maybe there's ways to work it out or learn to work with the kinks it has. But it's good to know it's not just me who feels the mechanics to be a bit wonky!

Thank you! After the woodpecker I made them fit certain sizes to frame them all together! Thought if I already put the work into it, might as well make them look good as decoration. That's where the off-white paper really brings it together I think!

Magpie, chiffchaff, bee-eater and woodpecker! Some attempt at learning to draw with colored pencils and I'm really happy with how they turned out!

Love the off-white color and texture of the bamboo paper I used, though unfortunately it's a bit too "soft" and starts dissolving when pressing too hard with the pencils. Still wasn't able to find a paper with that color that works better for pencils :')

Edit: Thanks so much for all the love on these <3 Next step is to learn to draw them from real life and not just photos!

Hello! I hope it's ok to post questions like that here. I have ALWAYS had problems with Monsteras and their leaves browning and dying off. I always thought it might be a too dark or too sunny location. Now I've made some new living room space and I thought maaaybe this spot would be good (bit away from a large window, lots of light but no direct sunlight hits it)

But once again the leaves turn brown, just as they did with the regular Monsteras I had. I tried spraying them with water for humidity, but no help.

So now I wanna ask if anyone has an idea what could cause this? If there might be something I'm obviously doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated <3 🌿

    Danke!
