Yeah. Just found that they're using this email address: OOOOOOOOOOOOOO@MURENA.IO. murena.io gives them 1GB of storage for free. Like you said, they appear to be attempting to keep a backup of a lot of data using third-party services, I'm guessing so that, in theory, even after their death, this data will be available... forever?
π what is this person's goal in life?
It's insane, right? I was looking through the files and trying to find anything that made sense. None of it does. I thought it was some foreign or custom encoded programming language or something.
Just reported. Wasn't sure if I should at first. But the more people who report it, the better, right? ;) Thanks
Good idea. I didn't report it before because I wasn't quite sure of whether or not it was malicious or just someone testing something out. But it's clear this person isn't just testing or debugging something. I'll report. Thanks!
Censoring content isn't the same as recommending content though. The OP was referring to recommendation algorithms specifically.
that's gonna be a very very expensive phone
yes... lol people on HackerNews tend to do this a lot and it really does get annoying. it forces the reader to process what you're trying to say unnecessarily.
yup and when you DO catch it spitting out nonsense. it"ll say "oh you right, let me change that".. π like, why do I have to tell you that you're wrong about something? You should already know it's wrong and fix it without me ever pointing it out.
sounds like you just need an RSS reader
It really irks me when people change the titles of the articles they link to to try to fit their narrative. Because sadly people dont really click through to the article. Just share the real title and give your commentary on the comments.
