This. Chromebooks weren't built with repair/refurbishment in mind. Moreover tech has moved fast enough that 10 years lifetime makes it really difficult to maintain supply chain (hw,sw both), specially with Google itself dropping support for older OS (Chrome OS was treated slightly better than Android)

    This person isn't wrong. I know most of school funding comes from property taxes which means more prosperous regions usually have schools with better funding. Moreover per family children are fewer (statistically) in more prosperous families. This makes the schools have more money per student in already prosperous communities.

    Federal and state grants may skew this but these have not been >2/3 of funding for a long while

    Legally this might be the same as intentionally deleting evidence. Rigging up evidence to be destroyed could be considered as intent of evidence misconduct, and some judges might not consider there to be a semantic difference given the intended end result to be the same (IANAL but the US judges are crazy)
