In the quote I showed he's equating the censorship/authoritarianism of nazi germany to that of the USSR. Of the comments he has made, I actually find that apt. Your interpretation only makes sense if you're equating the USSR with leftism generally which says as much about you as it does him.

I understand boycotting the game because of uncouth comments of its creator, especially when it comes to women's rights / sexual assault / etc., but please be honest that's the reason if it truly is why. I am at least not convinced he's a fascist based purely on what I've seen him say.

True, but after the incident happened it seemed as though some people did everything in their power to make it look like a mentality to him (i.e. combing through his past posts to see if he himself said anything yikes to prove to everyone how shitty he is). The "shove it up your ass" comment is enough to point to, so pointing to the (now deleted, might I add) statutory rape comment feels more like having a hate boner for the guy and that your goal is to moreso make you hate him as much as you rather than just the plain 'don't buy the game from this guy, he's a reactionary'.

I mean, this kinda makes OP's problem worse. I'm all for the subscription feed (>90% of my watch time is on channels I'm subbed to), but it'll only ever show you channels you've already watched. If I'm looking anywhere else like OP I don't want it to show those channels.

This is a cool feature of a lot of regex implementations but I will warn you that reusing capture groups in a match means it's impossible for any regex engine to guarantee a reasonable upper bound (best they can do is O(n!) I think? I'd have to look up the details). In a replacement string this is a non-issue because there's no way they can recurse out of control.

There is Backus-Naur form (and it's derivatives), which at least lets you name each section of text like you would a variable or function. Technically matches context-free expressions rather than regular ones but that's hardly different for most cases.

Not OP, but I've tried getting into Stardew multiple times and the fatigue mechanic absolutely ruins the game for me. "14 times" is an exaggeration but what it feels like.

People describe it as a cozy game but it is genuinely one of the most stressful games that I've played. As in I start clearing the land and then after a very short time my character is exhausted. Either I sleep it off and I'm worried I'll plant late enough the crops will die in winter or I work through it and end up in the hospital with a bill. Sometimes I've used the time to explore the town (as it seems the game mechanics are telling you to do), whereupon I find the shops are closed and I collapse on the way back home.

The one or two times I've played long enough to harvest crops I end up eating all of it just to get to the end of the day. Most of the money I make is from selling actual literal garbage I've found lying around.

The result of that mechanic is that the game is basically telling me the most cozy part of the game (farming) I'm not allowed to play until I've invested enough time to stock up on energy drinks. I'm left with fishing, which just isn't my thing, and mining, which is what I'll mostly do until I get bored because it's honestly kinda mediocre on it's own. I just can't get into this game.

(I'm aware that the main pull for the game is the characters, which if you enjoy that that's good. I've just never had much of a reason to be invested in them)
