because of that law it is B ;). the cube "teleports" into the reference frame of after the portal and in this frame it is highly in motion.

it's like you trying to jump on to a moving train, you first need to match the trains velocity (speaking relative to earth), then you are at rest in the trains frame.

this kind of thoughts is what makes special relativity so cumbersome.

when i wrote that i was thinking about a particular study, which was finding a correlation between food supply/shortages and onset of voice break. but for the love of God, i can't find it now. so possible that i just hallucinated it ;)

sounds exactly like something that i want to set up for a while now. i just didn't find yet a good solution to overcome the two stories between our flat and the basement which houses the washing machine :/

meaning you live in a part, where you can walk within a day to your neighbors. that's not given everywhere.

here we have sufficiently constant public transport and if that's not working there are always taxis.

anyway, i guess the picture is about people who are to anxious to "simply leave"

the original "schönste" could be either translated to most beautiful or nicest (looking nicest [most nice?!]). but in the context of the time the modern "hottest" wouldn't be to far fetched.

anyway, nowadays teens mature faster. so a 14 yo at that time could easily look like a 12 yo nowadays. but the sensitivities at the time were vastly different. good that we didn't life then.

    Hello everybody,

I recently purchased some parts for my first homeserver, but I am not really happy with the case, because it just a tremendous waste of space.

I am running an ASRock N100M micro-ATX with two Sata SSDs and one PCIe x1 NIC and Pico PSU to power it. So I am looking for a minimal/small case to fit exactly this.

What I find usually has no accommodation for PCIe cards, or wastes 50% of its space for a full ATX PSU and an optical drive tray... or it just cost more then the whole PC together. Since it is such a minimal setup I am hoping to pay the lower end of case prices (~30-50euro).

Does somebody here has an idea?

    Best wishes
