I used trakt for years and the new v3 UI is such garbage, combined with jacking the price up I jumped ship rather than keep dealing with them. They still offer the far superior V2 UI, but only for paying subscribers.

Every review has already drawn comparisons to The Raid films, which is fair but I don't think The Furious is quite at that level. Still an excellent martial arts film, but where The Raid films felt tightly choreographed with excellent camera work showing the talent of the fights, The Furious feels a little looser, the camera work is just a bit too close and shakey to get a good sense of the fights. Loved the movie overall though. Brian Le was an absolute beast, his movement and physicality was so different from anything I've seen before. And the final fight is up there with some of the greatest!

After the success of Backrooms I figured it was only a matter of time before SCP came up. I've enjoyed the V/H/S films overall and have a passing appreciation for the SCP project narrative so I'm cautiously optimistic this might be worth watching.

It was fine, I would have liked it to lean more into the weirder side of the liminal spaces, and I was expecting it would focus more on the organisation exploring the backrooms. Overall I don't regret seeing it at the theatre but it was pretty mid.

A surprisingly fun giallo horror film that features definitely 100% original movie that isn't Twilight by ELO or Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.
