Just visited KL and can't help to ask what is the difference of Pusat Bandaraya and KLCC. Are they the same?

Hi! I am visiting soon and I have this RM100 note with me, is this still legal tender or accepted in any shops and restaurants as well as for paying taxi fare, train tickets? Thanks in advance :)
