Sander Katz has a book called "The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved" which holds up the microwave as the prime example of what is wrong with modern eating.

I suggest looking into cooking with cast iron skillets. There are tons of great and simple foods you can make with couple of inexpensive cast iron pans. There used to be a cast iron cookery subreddit. There may be one here, I haven't looked yet.

Another essential is a good wok. (cast iron or otherwise) Basically you throw a bunch of semi-random stuff and some sauce iron seasoning in a wok and heat it up. The variations are endless, quick, and often tasty once you get the hang of it.

Yes. It is your fault if some company got hacked because your screensaver didn't come on for 30 minutes. Climate change is also your fault because you didn't recycle that yogurt container. Likewise that listeria poisoning you got you shouldn't have eaten at that restaurant chain.

The main Russian news organization is call "Pravda", which is Russian for "Truth". Their social media arm therefore, translated to English, would probably be called "Truth Social".

I don't think people are buying DJT because they expect to make money. It is more of a cult and prestige stock. One article called it a "meme stock". This makes the price harder to predict because it isn't based on numbers but something much less tangible. Throw in some securities fraud, and a few billionaires thinking it is another way to bribe or gain access to his majesty and this is a ticker I wouldn't touch with a 20 foot pole.

It is less about being on the fence versus being motivated to actually go vote. Most people are like "whatever", and "my vote doesn't matter anyhow" and "if I vote, I'm going to get jury duty". If the politicians can't get people to vote, they lose.

White males from privileged backgrounds for "the win". Too bad for Florida because it's been proven over and over that a diverse organization has a strong competitive and productivity edge. At least the white boys will have somewhere to strut.
