Used Debian growing up, and now I've recently moved to Fedora the last couple years because I need the new flashy GNOME GUI. Yes, my younger self was more mature.

    OpenOffice is wildly outdated. LibreOffice was started from a copy of OpenOffice and is under continuous development.

    They actually have an issue currently because OpenOffice refuse to take down their website and people keep downloading this piece of old software with the consequences that brings (security bugs, putting people off free software etc.

    I wonder why people leave duckduckgo out when talking about this. They already have a completely independent search engine afaik. Is it because they're US based?

    edit: nevermind it seems they do somewhat rely on Bing for results

    Because they'd be "breaking their manifesto promise" of no more tax increases. It seems like we're in a position where national security and economic stagnation require some extra help from the taxpayer.
